Hacking Is there anything additional needed to load games on n3DS?

Eh, I'm not going to play with my n3DS right now, as I still have my o3DS with me. I'd rather have an exploitable console in case something comes up, while still being able to play my games.

I'm in the same boat. Paperweight 8.1J N3DS (Smash bros. Edition) and an o3DS with emunand, cfw, and such.

With how little exclusive games/features there are currently with N3DS, selling and buying a new one seems like the best choice at this point

Probably a confirmed 9.2 one. I know they cost more, but meh...

There are ways to update from 8.1 to 9.0-9.2 I have found four of them so for but I don't recommend any of them.

Hmm, my friend decided to buy me a gateway. Guess it's my lucky day.

Is it possible to upgrade to 9.2 using gateway and cube ninja ? Then make emunand, install pasta, then system transfer my old 3ds to my new 3ds emunand ? Then I can give the gateway back to my friend ?

Okay, so my friends decided to give me their Gateway and Sky3DS.

Is it possible to upgrade sysnand to 9.2 with gateway... or is it possible for theme hax on 8.1J... or I'll have to use Gateway/Sky3DS cards to run the exploit every time?
