I want to update to 3.3U for some new games I am going to be buying but I would also like to keep homebrew. Is there any way to do that?

    You could:

    1) Use Starfall to make it so it doesn't want you to update
    2) Install cIOS, update, run IOS Downgrader

So those games that say you need 3.3 to run will still work if you use starfall to bypass updating?

I heard several times, then when you have installed a cIOS249
and then do the Big N update, you can do homebrew, but not all.
BUT now you're on 3.3E with a cios and if you now use the IOS downgrader,
you'll stay with your 3.3E but you'll have the fakesigning bug back in the other IOSes.
