Is there any way to increase the amount of space we have for DSiWare games? (CFW - A9LH/Luma)

I've looked into it but can't find a definitive answer. From what I gather, they're installed to a different part of the NAND which makes it difficult? So is there any way we can change the area they're installed to? If not, is there a way we can emulate them? ..Basically, any solution to remove/get around the limit would be awesome :)

    It's probably not possible.

The partition table looks like it's signed and encrypted so you can't make changes in there, such as shrinking/relocating FIRM and CTRNAND to make room for the TWLNAND partition.

See, obviously my technical knowledge is rubbish, but can we not just force/re-route DSIWare games to install to a different part of the NAND? Or emulate the NAND they're expecting and install there, something like that? Just seems strange that there's no way around the restriction, but again, I really don't know what I'm talking about.

Unlike in 3DS mode, where you can easily implement NAND redirection, there is no overseeing operating system in DSi mode that can be modifed to give this functionality. The DSiWare talks straight to the NAND chip with nothing in between that could implement redirection.

You would have to patch each DSiWare, and I don't believe there have been reverse engineering initiatives to figure out how to make a patch like that for a single game let alone each DSiWare.

Ah, that's disappointing, thanks for explaining it clearly though, appreciated :)
