Is there any way to edit a DSiware game to be read as a standard DS game? (Want to get these working when injected into a DS VC game on Wii U)

So I've been thinking about DSiware games (and DSi-enhanced DS games) and how they wont run when injected into DS VC games on the Wii U, but surely the Wii U could handle these games, it's just a matter in how the DS roms are being read. Previously I had been thinking, if only we could get into the code of the DS emulator on Wii U, we could probably make a few tweaks and get those games being readable. But now, I'm thinking maybe we just have to approach it from the other angle, would it be possible to take a DSiware rom and hexedit something or something like that, to get the DS emulator to recognize it not as a DSiware game, but just a standard DS game instead? I would really love to have single player Four Swords (the DSi anniversary edition of the game) playble on my Wii U.

I have no idea but one thing is for sure. I am 100 % rooting for you to get this working!! I would love to play that Princess Peach game as well!

DSi Ware games usually don't run on a DS or a pure DS emulator because these games expect DSi hardware, meaning extended RAM and higher clock speeds as the bare minimum, but also a bunch of other features.

Theoretically the Wii U is definitely strong enough to handle DSi Ware titles with ease, it's just the problem that nobody bothered to create an emulator for the Wii U that is compatible with DSi games.
I doubt even Nintendo bothered making one, and it's somewhat unlikely anyone is planning on porting melonDS to the Wii U's Power PC architecture, but maybe we'll get lucky one day.

The DSi enhanced games on the other hand should be able to run on a regular DS emulator, as those all come with a DS mode for compatibility purposes. However I have no idea how that is read out by the emulator, or how it's handled in the ROM. Maybe you can find some documentation on that? Since it has to be backwards compatible I'd honestly assume there's some information in the header that crashes the emulator, you could experiment by comparing it with one from a regular DS game that's fairly close (maybe with one of the Pokemon games?) and see if you can narrow it down any.
