You tried it with a game, not an R4. I don't think they designed for DS to work with that function on anything except a game.
You idiot, read what I said. I said I tried it with a game because I HAD FLASHME NOAUTOBOOT, and if you had any knowledge about the subject at all you would know that it automatically boots the flashcart in slot 1 on boot (faster than on Auto). If I still had the regular DS Firmware it would have done the same thing (booted to GBA before it booted the slot 1 while holding B).
AFAIK flashme no autoboot doesn't boot slot 1 automatically, it merely prevents the autoboot of your slot 2 card. So if your slot 1 card is booting it is because it was made to autoload (eg. R4), or your DS firmware is telling it to.
QUOTE(jwcgator @ Jun 27 2007, 01:36 PM)Actually I think I have the best solution yet:
Install Flashme v8a Noautoboot, and hold select while booting the DS!
The maker of the thread wants to prevent the R4 from loading on boot. He also has an M3 Lite in the slot 2. Holding select while booting with no auto boot will load the slot 2. If you remove the slot 2 then hold select (I just tried this) you will get 2 white screens (on an R4 + M3 Lite Perfect, and on FMv8a no autoboot, obviously)
