Is there any way to directly download roms to flashcart

    I was wondering is there any way to download nds roms directly to flashcart. So you dont have to connect it to your computer ?

    Nothings wrong was just for quickness like for when your not near your computer.

    You could try one of the DS ftp servers, but it would be rather slow on a DSphat or DSlite, but should be ok on a DSi I think. (as DSi has faster WiFi connection I think)

    (It's sort of what I do on my Wii for updating, installing homebrew.. ftp it on there. [​IMG] )

    It wouldn't realistically happen.

    If anyone were to make a homebrew for downloading NDS games to your DS, well that would obviously be illegal wouldn't it.

    At ~15KB/s.... so for a 128MB ROM (131,072KB) it would take roughly 8,738 seconds or 2 hrs and 25min.

    there was a ds ftp homebrew project, now defunct. you can do dcc sends with clirc. also if your ds is flashed there is a download application you can use. hmm probably more but i'm to tired to think right now.

    You wouldn't want to in the first place, DS download speed is 10kb/s ~ 30kb/s.

    Even if you used the faster DSlinux browser(at about 150KB/S). Most roms would be .rar'ed for size and need to be decompressed, and I don't think that can be done on the DS.

    Also a youtube vid showed a guy getting MarioKart.nds from 4shared using bunjallo.

    DSOrganize can save too; but the speed is very slow (5-6 KBPS), so it would only be useful for homebrew, etc.

    I remember a similar DS decompressing homebrew that was able to be downloaded from the DSOrganize Homebrew DB. Lemme look it up.
