    I would think so, in case a new update ever ends up breaking emunand for some reason.

    If you don't need a wifi connection on sysnand, simply delete all of the connections you have made on there.

    that hasn't happened in a long time for Old3DS (I think rxTools and the like still use 9.6 NATIVE_FIRM because newer ones are not needed?), while New3DS is still stuck at 9.5.

    of course I'd still wait before updating, who knows what Nintendo has?

    That and also to be on the safe side make 3 fake internet connections by choosing manual setup and going to ssid and naming it "null" for all 3 internet connections then save it.
