Is there any market for NAND mod kits?

Hey, I recently ordered some parts to make a NAND mod. It was cheaper to order multiples of the connectors and SD adapters than it was to buy just one.
I ordered 20 sets of connectors/cables and 10 SD adapters.
Is there any market for "kits" The wires will be presoldered to the female connectors, and a piece of paper that is labeled as to witch pin (GND, Dat0, ect..) each wire needs to be soldered too. The SD adapters would also come presoldered to the male connector.
All you would have to do solder 4 pins, and you would not have to worry about getting the connections mixed up, and it would save you the trouble and time of the SD adapter. I would also use a continuity tester to make sure that every connection works, and there is nothing shorting.
I could also include a little solder if that would be wanted.

I just wanted a little community feedback on the idea.
Would anyone be interested in this, and does $10-$15 sound like a good price?

Here is a picture as an example:
    Warning: Spoilers inside!

I think that's pretty good, and will save the end user (who has soldering skills) some money on either buying a new system and/or buying new materials.

I would buy a kit as well now considering I've just shagged bricked my O3DSXL. :rofl2: EDIT: Ideally, what are the components required for this mod?

Incidentally, there's another person on the internet who's been doing the same thing, but I can only trace it back to 2014 with no recent activity since.

I would buy for $10-15. The most frustrating part of doing a hardmod is soldering the SD card adapter. The 3DS is easy mode.

If you are selling these, can you please PM me about what connectors you use so we can discuss a price and payment options?

Lol, I would like to sell these, but I don't have the money to buy even one
I thought of this, but I mentioned my problem above why haven't I mentioned it.

I was thinking that there would be ribbon cables that are shaped to be soldered on the appropriate 3DS system, and it would have pre-soldered cables on its end, so you would only need to solder the 4/6points, and cut the connector's place on the 3DS, and done :P

Ooooh kind of like the easy install xecuter kits for the 360 im game so long as the PCB board is thin and not flimsy. I'm down since hardware is not needed and the price will be nice and low.

Nice idea. I would suggest not using usb type connectors as this leaves the possibility of people connecting the NAND chip directly to a USB port.

Honestly I'd buy one. I'm interested in doing it myself but juggling a few other projects so this would just make it less work for me.

    Somewhere in this potatoland!
Is it 1 kit -> all systems (N3DS/N3DSXL/O3DS/O3DSXL/2DS)?

I just think you need to cover all bases, see that wires are long enough etc...
Label everything good and make sure you always use the same color wires for the same solderpoint.
(meaning, using colored wires anyway ;) )

personally i wouldn't of imagined anyone would have been interested or i would have done them a long time ago :P but seeing the replies in this thread maybe there is enough people who would actually want these kits
i guess kits with the wires cut to the specific lengths for their model and pretty colorful pictures might help swing it for some people:yay3ds:

I actually have more than 100pcs of parts from previous projects that could turn into a "kit", I've been planning on doing this for months, Just haven't had the time to make them yet.

Good to know that there are people interested in this

Hah, SD adapter's easy mode compared to trying to wire up a micro USB female with no breakout board

I over ordered parts for just mods (got mad when my order did not come through, and put me behind on mods). I have over 1000 adapters. I can do them all day long at $15 shipped. Give me a minute to make one and post a pic of an actual product up.

Here's what the pre-made kit would look like:
