Homebrew Is there any homebrew/patch to play Wii games with gamepad on Wii U

I want to play Newer Mario Bros Wii and Animal Crossing, but I don't have a wiimote, is there any way for me to play using the gamepad as the controller?

Be warned though Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii doesn't work with the patch work. The game launches but the inputs won't work.

Well, this is a recent modded version of the original tool that @AmandaRose linked above. And judging from the GitHub, it does seem to add some quality of life improvements to the Injector.

I'm not sure but the team behind Newer is actually remaking Newer so possibly they may add support to gamepad patches as well
