All the ones I tried were bullsheep, except DraStic which ran at roughly 100% all the time (except like 98% some times) on my Android multimedia player that is as powerful as a potato (YP GP1). It ran even better on my phone (N9005).

So DraStic will run full speed? And does that include sound, or is it garbled?

I think it has sound, but I actually don't even remember since I always play without sound on my Android devices...

By the way, they have a lite version, so you can just try that to see if the speed is correct before paying anything.

Drastic DS is probably the best! Even runs full speed on my 2 2012 tablets, Asus transformer tf300t an sammy galaxy note 10.2.

edit: I read online that the fire hd 6 is crappy performance wise and probably only good for emails, websurfing and reading. try a couple graphic intensive games from the play store and see what your results are.

Your going to need to have root to patch drastic to have a licence if you want it free as an apk

I have no idea in general. My Dualshock 4 works though since I can set it to use a certain touchscreen profile (or whatever it's called, I forgot, it's been a while since I last used my DS4) which makes pressing buttons on the controller emulate screen presses.
