okay...say i deleted the wads that i installed awhile back off of my computer, am I screwed?

no u just have to redownload them if you want to use WadUninstaller.

I've only installed Wads that are roms injected into VC games I already owned, would i still get in trouble in case nintendo starts to ban people?

Yes. Try a system format.

use the wii NAND dumper.
after it finishes go to WII_FS/Title/00010001/
here you will see a bunch of folders. The name of the folder is the hex code for the ticket each wad had. To find out what each one is, open each folder and view the 000.app file in hex editor. The channel name you made using banner tool will appear. If it is the right one open the .tmd file and view the ticket info.
Extract the host wad *that you injected your own game in to* and replace the app files with the ones from your wii dump. Open title.tik and change the ticket to be the same as the one from the .tmd you copied over.
Pack the wad.
There you have a re-created wad
