Is there an NES emulator?

Is there an NES emulator that has a decent speed up option? One where you can toggle it on and off, and you don't have to hold down a certain button for the emulator to speed up? It has to be playable though, it's just to speed up those pesty RPGs.

The ds emulator and just set it for l/r to toggle it so you dont have to hold down the button. Lol.

I'm talking about for PC, not DS. I would have posted in DS emulation if that were the case.
