I've been waiting for The World Ends With You to come out for a very long time, I got it when it was released, flashed it and well since my eyes are shit I can't play the game on my DS [IMG] I simply can't see anything and reading the small text strains my eyes too much.

So, guys, is there an emulator that runs this game 100% I really want to play it, but I can't on my DS due to my exceptionally poor vision.

No emulator can run it 100% atm unfortunely.. although you should consider getting glasses instead of enforcing your already poor vision so it doesn't get worse.

sorry, but even if it would run... how the hell would you intend to play it ? It's kinda hard to pull of on the DS already, so go figure. (seems this is REALLY a DS exclusive)

I FUCKING HATE it when people tell me to get glasses, holy shit.
I don't mind talking about my problem or being made fun of for it, but when people tell me to get glasses over the internet I get seriously pissed off because...news flash I have glasses, glasses don't make your vision 20/20, especially not in my case, I'm legally blind, so yeah lol

seriously I HATE it when people tell me to get glasses, I have glasses theres nothing more that can be done for me.

yeah sorry for lashing out on you dude.

My apologies for appearantly touching a sensitive spot. But I suggest not mentioning your poor eye sight next time then as a main issue, since in most of the cases.. it might lead to someone talking about glasses [IMG]

Nah, it's not your fault, it's LL's fault, they made me get pissed of over stuff like this lol
I wasn't like that before LL's constant harassment.
It's cool, I should be the one apologizing, stuff like that never used to bother me.

Just curious. Is it a genetic disorder, accident related, had since birth thing, or just caused by staring at TV-screens for to long?

If you don't want sound, and enjoy 20 FPS. The emulator can render things nicely, but it needs a speed boost in order to make it remotely playable.

Actually, it has sound, but since the framerate is so poor, your better off without sound at all..

Yeap..the game is hardly playable, but it works at least. Its great for hacking the game for cheats and such since the no$gba has a blank screen during battle.

So far no$gba is the best one on the market for playability of games with a decent framerate and sound, but its still far from perfect. A good, working DS emulator looks to be years away still. At any rate, I'll stick to my NDS Lite and my flashcard. *hugs his NDS*

What do you mean by a good working DS emulator looks to be years away still?
In my opinion NO$GBA is perfect!....atleast version 2.6a is

It plays a large amount of DS games with minor problems.
    Games like
    TWEWY
    LOZ PH
and a few others have problems.
But,you must remember it still is a work in progress.
Maybe when Martin releases NO$GBA 2.7
Things like this will be fixed.
Anyways I usually send Martin emails about bugs and errors with games like this.
I will notify him and tell him about TWEWY.

Anyways If TWEWY is difficult by playing it with the keyboard...may I suggest using an Xbox 360
controller?...Or is the game played with the stylus....I would like to know.

Basically, if you can send him code to fix the emulator then he wants to hear from you, otherwise don't waste your time.

Also apparently Martin has gone missing and hasn't responded to any emails recently. Reason is unknown at the moment.

He may have given up on the project.
There could have been a lack of Donations.

Apparently I downloaded It and when I put the sound plugin in the plugins folder and started the emulator it gave me that message that you get to send an error report...and when I remove the sound plugin it works perfectly...Any advice?

May I suggest a CCTV? My mother in law has macular degeneration and she uses it. I wish I could remember the name of it but it is a 20" LCD on a projector facing a platform you can move around on the desk. Also, what kind of software do you use on your pc? I noticed zoomtext is not really game friendly, mainly direct x friendly...

Some people's vision is to far gone for contacts, glasses or lasik to be much help.
