as the title says...

i just need to increase a bit of crowns (money) and i reckon a save editor is the easisest way to do this.

If saves from PC are working for Switch, then maybe... All for 1.60 work?

I don't have the game on my PC but my friend does and he uses a trainer. i asked him to make a savegame file for me with money cheats at the beginning so i can use it on my switch.

i am guessing the pc version (1.32 i think) will work on switch's 1.60 version righht?

Seems like version 1.6 is limited to the console versions, including PS4 and & XBONE. Maybe there's a save converter from those platforms ?

There is a save for Witcher 3, lv 1 at start of the game, with full money 9,999,999 and 99 skill points. Don't recall the exact post of where it is, but it's here on gbatemp somewhere, it works perfectly as it's the one I've been using for over 15 hours now. If you can't find me DM me and I'll send it over.

Hi! So is it possible to continue my game from my PC to the Switch? How do I transfer the savegame? Thanks

1. Play the game on switch until you are allowed to save the game manually. Save the game.

2. Use checkpoint to create a backup of your game save.

3. Connect microsd to pc (either thru nxmtp or card reader) On pc pc transfer the backup save file (create a copy of this save file so if anything goes wrong you can restart with this same backup. Otherwise you gonna need to start game from start and do step 1 again).

4. Access your pc save files and rename the png and sav files to the name of your switch save files.

5. Replace switch save files with your renamed pc save files.

6. Use checkpoint again to restore save files.

7. Boot game. Load the replaced save file. Profit.

Note: you need to exit game when you backup/restore save files.

I've gotten PC save to work on the switch without a problem but is there anyway at all to have my switch saves work on PC? It'd be fantastic if I can copy them across depending on where I want to play it.

I tired loading one of the Switch saves on an old Wither 3 save editor to try and change the patch version to 1.31 like the pc. However it wouldn't even load it, does not seem like theres a way.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
but why choose it over ysmenu @Psionic Roshambo?

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
