Where you make it think you've already downloaded/paid for all the games?
Nope and it wouldn't surprise me if there never was, sorry
What for? too noob for WADs?
Nope. Pretty sure that kind of thing is handled on Nintendo's end so it's not like you could make a console-side hack to do that.
Not to mention that you can already get any game you want in wad form so what would the point be?
Just more official I guess..
Not that I don't use/know how to use wads.
so basically youd feel better if you ripped them off directly than if someone else ripped them off and then gave them to you?
So after you're already making them loss money by pirating, you're even gonna waste their bandwidth directly downloading from their servers for free?
[sarcasm]Awesome, that's a good way of thinking! [/sarcasm]
DERP DERP DERP DERP. This statement makes no sense. DERP ALERT!
You know, not that I dont know how to use wads.... but if i didnt......
if you know how to use wads then im not a painkiller addict
As said previously, the information on what you have bought in the shop isn't stored on the wii. It is stored on their servers. If you somehow manage to alter the data on the server, it would only take only one nintendo employee or even an algorithm to check that you have not actually paid for the game. Then you will be a target of the henchman at nintendo for changing the data on their servers and you will never even see or hear the word nintendo again. Which implies you can never play any of the items from the nintendo shop channel, which is counter-intuitive to the reason for getting the channels for free
Not only that, but actually hacking into their server and tampering with their data would probably get you some serious computer-crime charges, think FBI. This thread/OP is full of fail.
Definitely, and most servers have roll back options. Anything done to change data is like only one click away to change it back =P
The guys in white coats would have fun with the person who hacks into nintendo's servers
You guys take this waaaay too seriously.
Oh I guess you just wanted us to say "Yes here follow this link"
you asked a question and got a serious answer. What more do you want?
i iz 2 awsum 4 da FBI
Or not seriously enough
I am sitting here at work on GBAtemp with a rubber chicken on my desk and a chair that spins in circles and wheels around the room. Trust me, it can't get any less serious then this
On a more serious note, it is not likely to see any hacks that lets you get free stuff from the shop channel without fraud or editing the values on their server and both of those are harsh punishments by law.
That's fine. I'm not bitching. It's no big deal.
