Is there a way to use a Wiimote to play Gamecube games?

I'm not talking about the New Play Control games.
I'm just wondering if there's a hack or something that enables the Wiimote+Nunchuck to be used in place of a Gamecube controller, because I want to play multiplayer Double Dash and Melee but I only have one Gamecube controller.

Nope, all wii hardware can't be used in GC mode. Hacking this is not simple.

Not unless it's released into the New Play Control, sorry. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they did Double Dash in New Play Control. Sure, they have Mario Kart Wii, but the co-op features of Double Dash could be cool. Aiming shells with the Wiimote would be quite a nice touch as well as incoporating Mario Kart Wii driving controls.

Aw that sucks. Looks like I'll have to shell out for another Gamecube controller. Thanks for the replies.
