No, nds-bootstrap does not currently use the built in IR sensor of the 3DS, nor do any TWL_FIRM-based applications. You can, however, use any cartridge with IR to use it; it doesn't have to be the game that you're launching via nds-bootstrap.Can you use the infrared sensor on the 3DS to simulate that? For when you use TWiLightMenu++ to load backups?
Wait really? So I can play my backup of Black/White 2 but have other IR games like HeartGold in and it will use the IR sensor of that cart? That works perfectly then. By the way, TWiLight Menu++ itself does not load backups. It's handled by nds-bootstrap.
Personal Trainer: Walking didWhat other games have cartridges that use ir sensors? Because only ones i know have ir sensors are pokemon heartgold & soul silver and the black & white games and their sequels
At some point I was able to use my pokewalker for Heart Gold using my copy of White 2, and now... it won't even connect. Really want to send over watts and my Pichu but can't seem to. I didn't even change the setting that made it work since last time... I'm at a loss as to what to do to get it working again.
