You could try to get it on the quick boot menu on the game pad, I know is not ideal but is close enough and saves few seconds compared to waiting for the menu to load to use it. I don't know how to manipulate the quick boot apps but i guess if you use it enough it will show up.
When I got normal haxchi i was told that if you hold certain buttons it will take you to that certain thing, but when i did mine it just shows the game, normal title, but when i launch it goes to haxchi. can i set up some buttons or something?
Yes, you have to edit the config.txt file before installing the haxchi into the NDS game. You can modify the same config.txt and then reinstall haxchi into the already installed haxchi to make the changes work. Here is a example text to use.
Code:
a=wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf
b=wiiu/apps/wupinstaller/wupinstaller.elf
default=sysmenu
Default being no buttons pressed, use that reference to setup any or all of the 4 face buttons A,B,X,Y. As you can see is all directories on your sd card that lead to specified homebrew files to execute. Holding the button when loading haxchi will load the intended homebrew file instead of the system menu. After you made changes, save the file and put it in the haxchi installer folder on the sd card and run the haxchi installer again on the existing haxchi game to update it.
