Did you set up Henkaku on a sony memory card and when you move the content to a SD card it asks you to format correct?

Okay. So I followed all the instructions given to me.

I set up Henkaku on the memory card and on the system as I believe it is indicated by the Henkaku setting feature in my setting.

I haven't formatted my SD card yet. Why?

When you copy ux0 to the Micro SD you need to unselect hide protected system files in Windows file explorer options when you ftp into the ux0 and copying stuff off it, if you don't when you plug in the SD2Vita with the SD card it will asks you to format.

not sure what could be wrong. I just don't remember this happening to me. if it's asking for a format, it's obviously working to an extent.

This likely explains a lot but the issue seems to be my sd card.

It seems to read 3.73gb. Even though it is meant to be 256gb memory card...

it could be the storage manager thing in config.txt, but I'm not sure. I have no sd2vita stuff in my config.txt. it's all taken care of in boot_config.txt, which is in ur0/tai on 3.60 and 3.65 as long as it's the newer one. the older 3.65 has boot_config.txt in vs0 iirc.

you could try normal yamt, but yamt lite is just for ux0 and uma. I think that's the difference. it forces ux0 to be sd2vita and uma to be the memory card. it also doesn't have a way to change that in settings. that's why I chose it. I don't even need uma, but yamt is faster than storage manager. my vita and pstv, used it on both, boot very fast.

What allocation you used ? Vita need 64kb Cluster.
So I confirmed it does work and yes. I set it to 64k

It isn't even mentioned in the instructions to even format which is what confuses me.

Okay guys, I finally realized what the issue was.

It is the hidden files not being downloaded.
So the instructions are correct but you need to allow the options for the hidden files to be downloaded to make sure you don't get the format option. That is where I believe a lot of people go wrong as this is never mentioned in the steps.

So in Winscp, you need to allow for that option as well as window explorer.

I have now done the step and my memory card is now visible.
