Hacking Is there a way to make gamesaves region free

I am curious if there is a way to make a pal game save readable by an ntsc game.

I have been playing Punchout on a pal disc and now have an ntsc version and want to use the gamesave but the ntsc version will not see the game save.

Can I make it region free? Or convert from one standard to another?

I really dont want to repeat my progress.

on wiisave there is a guy called Link-Zero who knows how to do it..but at the moment he is not saying how it is done.
