is there a way to make english SSBB play as the japanese version? as in make the names and voices to japanese

Your gonna need access to both a Japanese copy of Brawl and an American one.

Then just replace files. I cant tell you which files to replace as I am not an editor but some people out there may be able to help you.

Brawl is nothing like Melee. In Melee, you had access to both Japanese and English.

But in Brawl, its only one language per region. (Though I believe the PAL version contains several languages but I am not certain.)

So it is not possible to just take a US copy of Brawl all by itself and edit it to make it a different language.
