You can use a lighter CFW. That's all you can do. The New 3DS's processing power is 16x faster than the Old 3DS. No matter what, the Old 3DS will always boot slow.

That's near identical to stock man. That's about as fast as it gets. Its delayed maybe a couple seconds compared to stock.

Thats pretty normal. Maybe use a bootanim and give yourself something to watch.

Or buy a N3DS, it boots a little faster.

SD Card also shouldn't matter, Class 4 is optimal for 3DS, Unless its less than that. Which is hard to find.

When you turn it on, you see the screen flash on after a few milliseconds, then disappear. This is arm9loaderhax and Luma3DS running. About 9 seconds later, you enter sysNAND. This is the fastest your 3DS will ever get. arm9loaderhax itself runs milliseconds into boot, but sysNAND/emuNAND will always take a little time to boot, due to how Nintendo programmed them.

Also, are you really complaining about 10 seconds?

it does, 64gb+ SD cards can slow boot time a lot.
format with EmuNAND9 if you don't have 64k cluster size. back up the files before you do that.

maybe you formatted it with 64k clusters. EmuNAND9 does that by default for 16gb+ cards now.

Just one quick off-topic question: can I use E9 to format a 64 GB SD card and to FAT32 for my Wii U?

Wouldn't that slow down the boot?
