Homebrew Is there a way to keep Tubehax incase it's patched?

of course we can't reflash 3ds games, in the factory nintendo breaks off the little lock/unlock switch that is found on sd cards. if only we were able to put that little switch back on... maybe we can switch it to the unlocked switch if we use something small like a needle

No, it called file permission and the rom is just read-only, in sd card there a button built in but you can even make files in your computer read-only

As far as I understand, if you connect to the Internet at all, the 3DS will grab the newest list of updates, and thus bring up the forced update prompt for Youtube if you should try to run it. It's effectively dead in the water now.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's already gone. Even if you don't update the app will not run unless you do. It's not clear how Nintendo did this but they're starting to crack things down fast.

Those first two are the same thing, but yes, we still have multiple entrypoints. There's really no need for people to be freaking out.

I do not have the game, I was wondering if I could make an existing cartridge into Cubic Ninja.

I do not condone piracy and highly advise you don't do this... But, you can download CN from somewhere online and use Gateway to enter HB. That's what I do. But I backed up CN from a friend. He then sold it to me 3 days later. So I guess I own two copies now.
