Gaming Is there a way to downgrade your wii without the homebrew channel?

Because you want a downgraded Wii for absolutely no reason? If you don't use the Homebrew Channel or backups there is no need to dowgrade, let alone downgrade without the HBC.


And yes there are ways but its 10x easier with the HBC because you don't have to start up BannerBomb every time you need to use an app.

My niece's wii doesn't have it and she has it at 4.0u so how would i downgrade it? I tried formatting it, but it didn't go down.

You can downgrade quite easily by using bannerbomb and placing every dol in the root (named boot.dol) when you want to launch it. However, there's no point as the newest HBC works on 4.0 just fine.

But she doesn't have the homebrew channel at all on her wii, i have been trying to put the twilight hack on her system but it says file may have been copied, and what is this bannerbomb, is it only used with the homebrew channel or what
