Hacking is there a way to downgrade 10.5?

Nah, not screwed, just have to throw down some cash for a hardmod (or run the risk of hardmodding themselves...)

There's no way you can downgrade your 3DS without a hardmod if it is in 10.4, 10.5 or 10.6. If you want a tutorial on how to hardmod your 3DS (any type would do even the 2DS), then check out this tutorial:

By the way, I have not yet hardmoded nor downgraded my N3DS nor O3DS before because I currently do not have all the materials as of yet (And yes a soldiering iron is required which I do have).

Downgrades are possible in 10.7 and below without a hard mod.

Well, I stand corrected from you. There is a way to downgrade without hardmod. Anyway it is better if you do hard mod it because this would help you out if you brick your 3DS (extra precaution). Well I guess I need to do more research.
