Hello,

My ZR button on my New 3DS XL for some reason out of nowhere decided to act as if it's constantly being pressed down.

That's not to say that the physical button is stuck, no, the console thinks it's being pushed when it isn't.

Nothing I've tried has fixed it, including pouring vast amounts of rubbing alcohol into it, blowing on it, hitting it with a hammer out of rage, have yielded any results.

So, is there some kind of homebrew that I can use to just disable the ZR button? I don't have too many games apart from Smash that uses it, not that I really play the thing much anymore anyway.

the n3ds doesn't use triwing screws, just normal Phillips, I did see some standard n3ds consoles use triwing screws on the sd card cover but all the rest are Phillips.........unless Nintendo have suddenly gone back to triwings

sometimes the 3 screws that hold this piece in are triwing screws
