In truth, even with Photoshop, it's practically impossible to do that because of the fact that the gif's have a lower quality then the bmp's because they lack support for truetype colors.

Does your .bmp have 256 colours or less? Then yes!

If not, err, use .png I guess? What's the .gif for?

Literally speaking, 24 colours should convert to .gif perfectly.

Unless you mean 24-bit bmps...

as above you can do it but expect some losses even if its minor it will still be a bit of a loss ... best format for images is PNG or RAW but even then your converting from an already low graphics format to an even lower format!

gif is a lossy (and shit) format that should have died a painful death years ago, if you are using it then you have to accept that.

Gawd you guys are no help xDD. Well... I gave you a way to get convert .BMPs to .GIFs, and you could just do what everyone else says. Save as .PNG or .JPEG either....
