I just got my CycloDS Evolution and I'm really happy with it, but it always seems like I'm going to break my microSD card (8GB 6 speed Transcend). It's tough to grab the little notch and pull it out without any kind of spring action like the Slot-1 has. Is there a trick to it, or should I just not worry about it because micrSD cards are more durable than they look/feel?

Grab the notch like a man and pull it [IMG]

Nah, the cards are durable enough to be pulled using the notch. That's why it's there!

Haha, weirdest way to put it, but he's right. It feels like it's stuck and you are going to break it when forcing it out the first few times, but it gets easier. Try sliding a piece of paper in between the CycloDS and the MicroSD card, then pulling it out. It should make it easier for those first few times before it loosens up.

^^^ Reading the last few posts with a dirty mind. I think this is staying an off-color thread.

It's true, the cart is hard to deal with when it's still brand new. I found that taking out and replacing the MicroSD a few times does make it easier, as well as the old "blow in the slot" nintendo trick. Just blow into the MSD slot on your Cyclo to get any debris out of there.

Use your fingernail and lift the upper-edge up, where the slight grip/edge is.

dont pinch it and try to grip it with your nails your only going to end up scratching it
insted, push it down and slide it out its a lot easier and doesn't harm anything

The trick is simple, get a nailfile (not steel) the kind girls use and just smooth off the edges on the tooth part on the side of the card. You only need like 2 or 3 strokes dont break the thing [IMG]
