And there wont probberly just come one.
And modchips would easyli get killed by sony becurse they can update the firmware of the drive with a system update.

how come with there will never be? how can u be so sure?
and both Wii and X360 can get online updates AND have mod chips and thus hacked and if it was this easily, Microsoft would disable those 360's.

I'm sure this will happen but currently got slowed due to the media PS3 reads, BD.

Becurse Nintendo cant flash the drive and so cant microsoft.

But sony proved they can flash the drive after the last update they made the drive able to read quad layer blu rays.

So if someone manages to make a modchip sony could just get a chip find out how it works and kill it with a single update.

but there is still possibility of running games off from its hard disk, it already runs demo's from its HD, why not commercials or using USB external HDD's.

I hope we see more movements near release of its big titles, namely, MGS, FF, etc.

Why would the price of blu-ray stop a hack , if it could be done , it would be. Cd writers and cd-rs were expensive when they first came out , did it stop chips appearing for the ps1 , no. Dvd writers were expensive when they first came out , first writer I got was £250 , that's more expensive that the current blu-ray writers , did it stop ps2 mods? , no. If a hack can be done , it will be. They're not going to say "well we can hack it , but you know what , lets not , them blu-rays are just a tad expensive.

Also $30 for a single disc , where the hell do you shop. Verbatim 25GB bd-r = £5 ($10) and that's here (UK) where most stuff is expensive.

Don't expect an MGS4 dump anytime soon for the Ps3.

If there isn't a dump for the launch titles, it'll take a BIG while for MGS4.

Kojima himself said he had problems fitting MGS4 in a Blu-Ray disc, lol.
