Is there a possibility to run a MicroSDHC card on a regular R4?

    Hello!

I have a R4 flashcard (probably the Original, it says: [R4 Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)] on the card) and I wanted to replace the standard 2GB microSD card, so I bought a [SanDisk Ultra 16GB MicroSDHC I] and it froze on the Loading... screen. I installed the firmware and the same thing happened. Then I found a [Toshiba MicroSDHC 4GB] and the same happened.

Can I use one of these cards or do I have to buy alternatives?

    Short answer: No
Long answer: The hardware wasn't made to support MicroSD above 2GB. That was the limit at the time and the hardware was never upgraded to go past it.

If you want an alternative, go for the R4i Gold (r4ids.cn) It officially runs Wood R4 and is basically the closest you can get to an upgrade R4
