Hacking Is there a place to buy ds lite motherboards?

I have a ds lite that has water damage. It charges fine, but wont even attempt to power on. No green light or anything. I've bridged the fuses, and it still wont turn on. And there is some blue gunk on the back, so I assume the motherboard is fried. The screens still work(I tested them in another ds) so I'd like to just replace the motherboard. Is there some place you can buy them? The ones on ebay are around $50 and that seems kind of high since you can get a working used DSL for $80 now.

I'm not sure, but you could buy a damaged DS Lite and take what you need from that. By damaged, I mean heavy scratches, broken sceens etc.

But I'd just buy a new DS, much easier. Why not get the new DSi?

I figured buying a damaged one would be the only way to get a new mainboard. I'll probably go ahead and do that.

I still play my gba games all the time so I don't really want a DSi right now.

DSi sucks anyway, camera and media exist on phones, and piracy protection is homosexual.

Send it off to consoledoctor.co.uk, 3 days it took them to repair my DSL's hinge, also they give a 6 month waranty and are way cheaper then the official nintendo service.
Its also less risky than attempting a repair yourself.

And I was just using DSi as an example, he could just get a new DS Lite if he so wished. I know I'm awesome, but just because I sugest something doens't mean you all have to do it

And I don't think you're going to get cheap repairs and a 6 month warranty on water damaged goods.
