Is there a need to hang on to wud file?

    is there a need of the wud file in the future? can i delete it and just hang on to the extracted rpx files?

    I delete them. They are too big to have hanging around.

    Yeah no need for 25gb files unless your a purist archivist.

    Delete or compress.

    I keep the original compressed files, normally, and delete the extracted wud.

    Removing the garbage is nothing that decreases the game's quality.
    Since Loadiine, CEMU and probably the upcoming USB Loader for IOSU exploit (which obviously would still be Loadiine with USB support being added) are capable of handling RPX/RPL structured games (which you would call "Loadiine ready") there's no need to keep WUD files.

    Well, they're insanely big, for one. You can use ddd to dump things for Loadiine if you want to do that down the line, and if you want to mod, you're better off extracting the important things out of the .wud and getting rid of it. Or dump via TCPGecko, for that matter.
