Pokemon is way too easy, all my Pokemon are above lvl 18 atm, and the trainer Pokemon are maximal around 14...
Its always been that way, thats just the way I play.

So is there a hack for Pokemon FireRed, or for any Pokemon game that makes them alot stronger?

    the X version?
    that one's harder than normal.
on the very 1st fight(when you don't even get the chance to train) you can already only barely win, if you use all potions available at that time.

just a warning, to make it work on a GBA/NDS you might need to do a "headerfix" with gbata
the one i got came with a broken nintendo logo.

    ^^^

Yeah, use GBTA for the headerfix if it seems to not work. Also, you may need to sram patch it with GBTA as well. If you get the '1m circuit board is not installed' error, then you won't be able to save and you'll need to patch it with gbta.

Other than that, patch away and enjoy! Awesome hack, one of the best about.

Is the game still playable? (is it not too hard?)

Can I use my ShinyGold save with this version?

you probably can use your normal save in X, since they are the same game but different difficulties.
    however i don't recommend it.

the X version has tougher opponents, but this also means faster training.
so if you'd use your normal version's team it would probably be too difficult.
