Hacking is there a dos emulator for the DS ?

I was just wondering if there was a MSDOS emulator for the DS as it uses two arm processors, many pocket pc us arm processors and have had Dos emulators for a while. and if their is one can it run windows 3.1...or am i talking crap.

No, there is no DOS emulator. There is SCUMMVM DS which will run some games from the DOS era, but the actual OS has not been emulated with something like DOSbox or anything.

Would it be hard to convert a pocket pc dos emulator to run on a DS as they both use arm processors and most flash carts us the fat file system… or am I missing something. Thanks

From what I have read, there is a dosbox for ARM (Pocket PC's are more powerful and have many os specifics) on gp32, which would probably be easier to convert for a ds version than the pc version. I don't know whether that version is open source or not.
