Is there a chrome extension or program that can make websites load a custom HTML every time?

As in you load up google but it turns out to be it's retarded brother yahoo? (it's a joke don't take it seriously)

You could probably use ViolentMonkey and script something out in JS.

EDIT: If you need something local you can try editing the hosts file.

Userscripts (GreaseMonkey etc...) are what you want. But they inject JavaScript, you can use that to modify the HTML.

Host your HTML page with live-server (npm package) the just make it redirect to the live-server address.

I don't think there's anything readily available that you can use out of the box. If you know JS you can script something yourself. Inspect the wayback machine's snap and use those values on the new google page.

Good to know. I'm never on a desktop anymore, so I don't keep up with this stuff.
