As the thread title says I'm interested in viewing and using the PS Store to download demos and also would like to download and play user created levels on LittleBigPlanet. Is it possible at all..?

I remember that one of the DarkAlex CFWs allowed this a while back but seeing as he's given up on the CFW I'm hoping that there's either a way of getting 5.50 GEN-D2 to do it or there's another CFW that allows it..?

Thanks in advance!

They don't seem to advertise it, as it's a pain in the arse to find. It's a PC app similar to iTunes.

But it only works on Windows, and it will require you to fill your PC with a bunch of shitware like Quicktime and WMP updates for functions you'll never use and probably resent having.

I don't know yet if it does work with CFW. I was considering buying some Rock Band tracks but I haven't gotten around to it.

That would be too bad, if true then they just lost several sales. I wanted some Rock Band content and there are a couple minis I've been enjoying and wanted to buy.

A simple way around the crapware is to use a VM.

IIRC, GEN-D2 has a built-in workaround so that it woks with MediaGo without any additional setup. Download and install, open the store portion, buy, and plug in your PSP.

Yeah I just got done testing it and Gen D2 does work with Media Go. I grabbed the free Still Alive track for Rock Band and it worked, so I bought a couple others and they also work. If Sony is smart they will take no action to prohibit this.

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.
