I find it to be really low using Apple earbuds, even with max volume. Anyone else agree?
sounds fine one my skull candy lowrider
but the apples earbuds are quiet on my 3ds (dont know about wiiu)
looks like nintendo doesn't want to pop your eardrums
Maybe you just like it too loud.
the only time I have actually found it real hard to hear is when using the Amazon Instant Video app
I've never found it too quiet. But then I don't use earbuds, Apple's or otherwise. See if you can borrow some headphones (not earbuds) from a friend or relative and see if you have the same problem.
Try a different headphone/IEM. Earbuds aren't that great, especially the Apple ones.
Apple ear buds may suck, but ear buds in general not so much, i have some with sort of a silicone gasket that blocks out outside noise and puts out about 19 ohms...only costs about $20
Do you have a link for that? I'm interested.
i just picked them up at Wal-mart
always check the specs of the ear buds/headphones on the back before you buy them
Buy a portable amplifier, I use a fiio e11 which makes everything sound amazing, really nice bass boost and battery time.
Paired up with my 80ohms studio phones it's incredible what kind of sound you can out of the 3DS.
I agree I was playing a WiiU virtual console game & I turned all the way to max & it felt like it was on 50% when it was actually on max.
