I want a new version of QuakeDS and Quake2DS, but I'm pretty sure that there is no newer version as of 7/22/2009. Is there a new release date or is the author not working on it anymore?

I sent an e-mail to him a while back, I heard no response.

Also, the config.cfg file on the Quake 2 DS page is dead. It might mean he is slowly updating the site or it's getting too old.

No, it's most definitely dead [IMG] The last QuakeDS update was in october I think of '07. As for Q2DS, it was last February :/

What about Q1 needs updates, just wondering? I thought it was all perfect & done and able to play all 4 episodes of the commercial pak, which explains why it hasn't been updated in nearly 2 years.

Although Q2DS doesn't perform as smooth, I don't notice anywhere on the page that hints they're looking for improvement since it does stress the fact that Q2 was a bit too much for the DS. Probably already satisfied that it's fully playable unlike Duke Nukem 3D DS [IMG]

And Q2DS' config.cfg has had the 500 error for months now, but it's the normal Q2 PC one w/ a few custom additions so it's no big deal; you can dl the shareware if you haven't.

My QuakeDS EXRAM build won't work with my SuperCard Lite; it ruins the config file after 3 times of booting.

I can't get my Duke Nuk'Em 3DS' video and sound to work right [IMG] I miss that game.

Um, Duke Nuk'Em 3DS' video and sound will always be screwed up, right? Or am I just doing something wrong?

They will always be screwed up. I don't have a direct statement (you can probably Google dcemu or the neoflash forums to find the topic), but as far as that port goes it was made just to show it was possible to port that game. He didn't bother w/ updates after that so it's stayed terrible.

Actually, me too. I'm going to download the EXRAM build for my EZFlash 3-in-1.

Notice how I typed the topic? If there is someone else asking if it's dead, it'll be different from that date so confusion doesn't arise.
