Ain't out yet, I want it. Eyeballing the measurements, it looks to be about as tall as a DSi XL and less wide.

$40....ouch. Huge speakers and a better battery would be nice, even if it's ginormous. Does anyone have any idea how rumble would work? It'd be cool, but I didn't know 3DS supported rumble. DS did, but it had to have a rumble pack in the GBA slot and hardly any games used it (M&L Partners in Time, Picross DS).

If it works anything like the GBA version i used ages ago, the rumble reacts to noises from the game. I think it searches for something drastically different in the tone of the music and reacts accordingly. I remember that even though this is a flawed system, it still worked considerably effectively for the GBA.

I wonder if that extra battery is to support the rumble? Doesn't the rumble drain batteries?

I'd want one but I'd want to see what it looks like when its closed lol and if it makes a transformer noise ahaha

Over time, you'd think rumble would mess with some of the insides of the system...especially on a device that's not originally designed to rumble. With the motion controls and everything, I don't think I'd chance throwing something off.
