It seems to have region free support.

@Black_Knight_666: "Region free" means you can play games from another region. (i.e.- PAL game on an NTSC Wii)

Some Pal games like Luigi's Mansion simply won't work on a NTSC Wii. All the NTSC-J (Japanese) games I've tried seem to work fine. Like always, I recommend using games from your region if possible. You can always check this compatibility wiki to see which games work with different setups.

It's region free but some PAL games display in an odd mode that your TV may or may not support. Like all games will 'work' but you may get a rolling screen.

    @The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
