If Im correct, Starfall is the great protection you can have, as it is even deeper into the Wii than preloader. If all else fails, Starfall should most likely work.

Everyone installs a wad at some point in time, so its better safe than sorry. 250$ is alot of cash to waste

SaveMii(free or otherwise) won't do you any good if you aren't able to autoboot disks from the recovery mode. If you don't have a modchip you'll need Starfall to do that.

If you have both.

Preloader is better if you HAVE to choose one because if you bricked your wii you can STILL use it as if nothing ever happened and then install a new one if you want.

Starfall, with cioscorp, is also great cause if Preloader gets corrupt somehow, you can burn Zelda disc and then preform the Twilight hack.

Just follow the riiskiimod, and stay on 3.2, So no matter who or what uses your Wii, it will be safe.
