is psp 1000 or phat (fat) good for gba and mega drive emulation ?

    is psp 1000 or phat (fat) good for gba and mega drive emulation ?

    could i run gba games on first psp smoothly ? without problem ?

    For most games yea, games like kingdom hearts you cant see cutscenes, and if you use save states, make sure you have real saves at save points too.

    well games with their colors tuned for original gba, may look too bright on a 3000. i don't know about the first psp.

    my dad works for nintendo.
    i had no issues playing pokemon or sainic and knucles on my psp
    but i would recommend the other psp models, because the extra ram

    Yeah, GBA/Mega drive emulation works great on the PSP.

    Though I agree with migles, grab a PSP 2000/2001 for the extra RAM in case you ever wanna grab other homebrew.

    Get a 2000. The extra ram is needed for Saturn emulation, and for making Super Nintendo games run smoother.. and even then, they might fell slightly short of the native speed, and you'll need then to enable "framerate: auto".

    A 1000 is fine for emulation.
