Is Paper Mario: Color Splash dead?

As you can all see there are Pokémon Sun/Moon in that list, even though they have been announced 2-3 months after Paper Mario: Color Splash. AND YES, Color Splash is not in that fucking list.
Is this a miracle or am i just dreaming?

My prediction is that maybe after the backlash they redesigned the whole game, but personally I hope that's the case and that they didn't just cancel the whole game.
