Is my switch dead ? (SX core red light and black screen)

Hello, I'm using my switch with an sxcore installed from several years, but now after having tried to install a game with Tinfoil that took a very very long time and failed with an error and black screen, I can't no more turn the switch on.
I tried to press the power button for a minute, pressing volume butons, the screen never turns on, I just see the sxcore blue led twinkling for several seconds and finishing red, or even just red.

Is there another solution than droping my switch in the trash ?

Installing a game can't brick your Switch that hard. Try taking out the SD Card and see if the SX Core gives you the no boot.dat screen. If that also fails then your NAND chip is probably failing, but that's easily replaced if you have a regular console (not Switch Lite). Already tried without the sd card... Nice to know there's a solution, thank you I'll try that !
