Hacking Is my R4 Gold Pro an original or a clone

have ordered a R4 Gold Pro for 3DS on german ebay - comes from Macau.
Wonder if this is an original.

I've read clones will probably break if you flash them with NTRboot.

Looks like everything on the picture on ebay, only 2019 instead of 2018 on the cart.

All R4i-SDHC/R4iSDHC carts are going to be clones and also literally the same cart

It's worth noting that every single R4 on the market is going to be a clone, as the R4 Team hasn't existed since 2008.

The reason whi I'm asking is, that in the tutorial "Flashing ntrboot" is written ", it may be possible for the flashing process to brick a counterfeit flashcart and render it permanently unusable."

So my question should have been - do you think, this is my card in this listing?

(there are also different plastic colors on the "original" homepage of the cart.)

Because it has a "feature" called timebomb

Which can be bypassed by ysmenu or simply by changing your date.
Don't worry. It does what you want it to do. Play .nds games and it will do that until a hardware failure.

I'm ok with this "feature" as it was the cheapest card which supports NTRboot. Will use it after installing the CFW to the 3DS on my old DS Lite (no problem changing the date when it's time).

It's a clone but it can work still, support NTRboothax and DS games, with Timebomb.

what you got is almost certain to actually work, as touch bomberland is what their "legit" ones should show.

How could you actually know if it is realy?
Is there any benefit of having a real one?

you can generally assume that if the kernel from the website (r4isdhc.com, in this case)works, it's real enough to count.

Card does seem to be a clone - impossible to flash boot9strap.
-tried different sd cards, different devices (3ds and ds). Used the tutorial from 3ds.hacks.guide and downloaded the files there.

you put the firm file in the wrong place. read that error message.

if it was a clone problem either it would say cart not recognized or it would brick it.
