Gaming Is my ds lite fake or real?

I have bought a japanese ds lite recently from a seller in Japan. I have never had a jap version before so I am worried it might not be genuine. I have uploaded a pic, the thing that
worries me is that there is no barcode with the serial number and the white under the serial number.

Does it run ds and gba games?

Does it boot normally to the ds menu when nothing is inserted?

It seems to boot up normally to the Japanese menu screen but I haven't tested it with any games yet
