I was downloading with IDM, borwsing the web with FF3, working with Flash, opened an PDF at Library that I suddenly saw an .doc file with a strange filename like "24qwar3r13t5" on my desktop,so I opened and contained strange characters (like opening binary files with notepad).

Is my computer hacked or something? I have ZoneAlarm and its updated 1 week ago but its not "genuine" as you know.

any comments or site that I can check my PC?

tnx.

What did you use to open the PDF? I know that Word and the like tend to create temporary strangely-titled files in the same directory as the file being opened. Try to open the PDF again and see if it pops up again.

ZONE ALARM is pretty rubbish for spyware removal its more of a software firewall than anything!

read my advice here its general advice for spyware removal but will help find anything lurking if there is anything

remember to scan with a good antivirus afterwards to get rid of anything the programs advised in my link may of slipped by

my choice of ANTI VIRUS program is AVG FREEWARE 8 which also has anti spyware built in

I still use the other programs listed in my other post though as a backup precation for checking for nasties

it could be a malicious script thats making the doc files appear from anywhere usually from dubious webpages .. that could of been accessed by the person before you

I'll bet that you have 'Show hidden files and folders' enabled, hmm?
It's normal for MS Word to make weird files like that when you open up a document.
But they're only visible if you have the 'Show hidden files and folders' option enabled.

has nothing to do with being hacked, it's just a Microsoft Word Temp file while you're working on a document and sometimes it gets left behind.
