    Hello everyone!

I have a PS4 pro with 5.05 firmware and use it with HEN to play backuped games. I got tired of reboots and other minor occasional issues and want to update to official firmware and start using licenced games and software. Can I do it safely? Is there any chance I will be banned in the future? Maybe there is something in Ps4 that recorded my "bad deeds" and there is no way for me to go official? I don't want to sell my PS4 and than buy new one just to be on the safe side if that is possible.

So far to date, there have been no instances of ban based on previous PS4 history (hen or fake titles).

But that doesn’t mean they won’t turn on the detection later down the line.

Best way to be sure is fully re-initialise the machine before upgrading. You will lose everything, but hopefully avoid console ban.

In this way, any trophies unlocked with fake games are lost. Is that correct?

    Yes everything.

I mean you can (and should) back everything you can up before hand, but say you had a fake signed game, and got trophies for them or kept saves, they might inadvertently flag as well.

There would be a mismatch of tickets (rif) to saves etc.. idk just hypothesising.
