Question Is it safe to run XCI, or NSP, backups on your Switch?

    Title, I'm curious. I'd like to know what to do and what not to do when trying to run backups.

    if you dont mind getting your console banned from online then theres nothing else to lose

    I'm pretty sure XCIs are safer to run than NSPs. XCIs can only be run with SX OS atm.

    With SX OS, loading an XCI is like loading a game on an emulator. To use NSPs, you have to install them to the home menu, which Nintendo can detect. (I've never used SX OS befor, btw, so my knowledge of it is limited.)

    If you want to use an NSP, you'll need DevMenu or Tinfoil. You also need sigpatches to play the games.
