It is most definitely safe when it comes to downloading compared to freeshop/villan3ds/ciangel

With 11.8, the freeshop and anything like it was killed and so pre-packaged .cia files that ignore the whole ticket auth fiasco are the way to go.

EDIT: Previously installed games through freeshop and others are also safe, just don't try to install games through there now
